On Oct. 13, after 50 years serving the Frankfort community, Jim’s Seafood and Steaks will be open for their final day.

Stephen Stallings, Scott Marlin and David Plumb were all winners at the Governor’s Open Sept. 8 at Juniper Hill.

The Juniper Hill Wednesday Ladies Golf League played this week with 46 golfers participating. Aggie Hampton hit a hole-in-one on No. 10. Witnesses were Dawn Redmon, Helen Hawkins and Nina Sue Rice.

The Community Collaboration for Children (CCC) will host State Trail of Treats from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 at Juniper Hill Park.
