Someone call up Star Magic Jackson Jr., because a script for Gremlins 3 is reportedly on Steven Spielberg‘s desk. While appearing at Comic-Con Manchester last week, Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) star Zach Galligan gave an update on the long-awaited threequel to the Joe Dante-helmed Christmas creature features.

Zach Galligan confirms Gremlins 3 has a finished script and is close to being greenlit, with Steven Spielberg's approval as the final step.
