Authorities said deputies arrested the suspect in Cypress after he called law enforcement and said he was planning to detonate explosive devices and conduct a mass shooting.

Jeremiah Chavez, 20, reportedly threatened to blow up 290 and his family's home. He was arrested with "bomb-making components," according to court documents.
