Google has started developing autonomous vehicles in Silicon Valley. Now Waymo is offering its service with autonomous cabs there.

Waymo will start offering robotaxi rides to people in its "Waymo One" early rider program in Mountain View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, and "parts of Sunnyvale"

The company is operating in a 27 square-mile service area that includes Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and parts of Sunnyvale.

The technology company’s self-driving vehicles will offer rides to users of the company’s app in all or parts of four Northern California cities. People in the new service zone will be chosen from a pool of eligible app users.
