Former world No. 1 Andy Murray says he is confident his statue at Wimbledon, set to be unveiled at the 150th edition of the championships in 2027, will be an improvement on the infamous terracotta warrior made for him at the 2011 Shanghai Masters.

Andy Murray is set to be honoured at Wimbledon with a statue that will be unveiled in 2027. All England club chair Debbie Jevans revealed that Murray will be involved in the design of the sculpture, with plans for it to be ready in time for the championship’s 150th anniversary.
