TCU won its first-ever beach volleyball championship, defeating Loyola Marymount 3-2 in the title matches. This was the first time in NC beach volleyball history that UCLA or Southern Cal did not take home the trophy.

The 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship gets underway on Friday, May 2 and continues through the weekend with the final taking place on Sunday, May 4 with each match taking place at Gulf Place in Gulf Shores, Ala.

For the first time in school history, TCU has secured an NCAA national championship in beach volleyball. The Horned Frogs accomplished the feat Sunday, taking down Loyola Marymount by a 3-2 score in Gulf Shores, Alabama. With the victory, TCU broke a string of Southern California-based dominance in the sport.
