The Washington Commanders acquire running back Rachaad White in free agency to replace Chris Rodriguez on the roster.

Washington Commanders running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. signed a 2-year, $10 million free agent contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Rodriguez is an unrestricted free agent after the Commanders opted against tendering him, Ben Standig of Big 100 Washington D.C. reports. The RFA tender would've cost around $3.5 million, so the Commanders may still try to re-sign Rodriguez at a lower cost.
