Switzerland put an end to Denmark's Cinderella run at the IIHF World Hockey Championship on Saturday, cruising to a 7-0 victory in the semifinals.The Swiss will play the United States in Sunday's gold-medal game.

The Swiss blanked Denmark 7-0 to reach the gold medal game for the second straight year. Switzerland has never won the worlds.

Team USA lost to Canada in its last IIHF final in 1934, one year after defeating the Canadians to win the event. That remains the only gold medal in the IIHF World Championships for the United States to date. Sunday's final will start at 2:20 p.m. ET.
