LAKE COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) - Austin Drummond, the suspect accused of killing a family of 4, appeared in court this morning via video. Drummond was taken into custody after a statewide manhunt ended in Jackson, Tennessee.

Drummond is charged with four counts of first-degree murder, as well as aggravated kidnapping and abandonment. The judge revealed that the four Tiptonville victims were found shot to death.

The Tennessee quadruple murder suspect Austin Drummond is now in custody, Jackson Mayor Scott Conger announced during the Aug. 5 city council meeting. The manhunt for Drummond continued into the morning of Aug. 5 as surveillance camera footage showed him walking around the Pipkin Road area dressed in camouflage, carrying a black rifle.
