The men's college basketball transfer portal officially opened Monday, March 24, and there are more than 1,500 players in the portal as of Monday, March 31. The parade of departures from Illinois' basketball program appeared set to continue when multiple outlets reported Wednesday that sophomore guard Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn has entered the NCAA men's basketball transfer portal.

Gibbs-Lawhorn made two starts for Illinois, which made a run to the Round of 32 in this year's NCAA Tournament. He's in the transfer portal with teammates Tre White, Carey Booth and Morez Johnson Jr., who announced Tuesday he's going to Michigan.
