The gunman responsible for shooting Melissa and Mark Hortman is set to appear in court to submit a not guilty plea.

Vance Boelter, 57, was indicted on federal murder charges last month in the killings of Democratic state Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark Hortman.
