Dahlia flower harvest was close to zero this season. A few reasons for that — I planted many of them too late, the summer was extremely dry and hot, and bugs were getting to them as well. However, even though 99% of them didn’t get to bloom, they were busy growing pretty nice tubers underground. Today I dug them all up — it feels so good!
