I’ve never had a conversation about White Fir and that’s a shame. Out of all the fir trees, White Fir (Abies concolor) is the best suited for Chicago area conditions—yet, it’s not planted as frequently as other evergreen trees like Colorado Blue Spruce or Black Pine.
