At the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Breeding Station in Qilian Mountain National Park, vets are trying to fit a new prosthetic limb on a bar-headed goose they rescued earlier this year. When rescued, the goose had a broken vein under its right knee, which led to the amputation of its right foot. #EcoChina During its recovery, the vets have been customizing prosthetic limbs with materials they can obtain to protect the wound from being scratched and to help the goose regain balance.
