Something that really motivates me is watching other adaptive athletes succeed at their sport. It's something I never saw growing up because the internet didn't exist back then. I often felt isolated and alone and sometimes I just felt like a different species compared to my able-bodied peers. Now, I can see adaptive athletes from across the world online and many at in-person events, too. I am truly inspired by their hard-earned efforts. I know firsthand how hard it is to overcome the obstacles
