Najee, is a Grammy-nominated jazz saxophonist from Jamaica, Queens. After graduating from August Martin High School, he trained at the New England Conservatory of Music. He toured with Chaka Khan before recording his debut album, “Najee’s Theme.” Since then, he has become a Jazz Contemporary pioneer and has won numerous honors, including an NAACP Image Award, a Soul Train Music Award and a Trumpet Award.
