Next up in our series on the St.Peters Sculpture Trail is ✨ SHADOWS IN ANOTHER LIGHT ✨ Found between the Wear Bridge and the University of Sunderland St. Peter’s campus, you’ll find a striking steel tree standing on the original base of an old riverside crane. Crafted from rivets, nuts and bolts from the actual crane that stood in this exact location! Looking through the telescope pointed at the sculpture, visitors are guided to a convex mirror, which reflects a 100 meter long shadow of a crane.
