Well, here's something you don't see every day. Our aquatic biologists and field staff are in the middle of the kokanee salmon spawning season at the Roaring Judy Hatchery near Gunnison. Every year, millions of kokanee eggs are collected and hatched. Fingerlings are then released in the spring for sport fishing at reservoirs throughout Colorado. | Colorado Parks and Wildlife
