Over the weekend, I had a great visit to the Honolulu Zoo, learning about the work our zookeepers do and meeting some of the animals that call the zoo home 🦁🦏🦒 This zoo has a special history — it’s the only zoo in the United States gifted to the people through grants of royal land from a sovereign kingdom.
