Guest musician Karen Melendez joined The Brooklyn Tabernacle at age 16, where her gift for singing was discovered. She soon became a featured soloist and was known as "The Voice of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir" for nearly three decades. During this time, she toured the world, ministering in countries such as Italy, Japan, Ghana, Trinidad, Bermuda, Barbados, and Nicaragua.
